To open this list, we could not miss the most played Christmas song, becoming number 1 in 18 countries. Singer Mariah Carey released this jingle, All I Want For Christmas Is You, and included it in her fourth album, Merry Christmas, in 2014.
2. Ariana Grande - 'Santa Tell Me'
The following song has been compared with All I Want For Christmas Is You, but there is no doubt that each artist has its style. Santa Tell Me, a song written by singer Ariana Grande, was released in 2013 within the Christmas Kisses album. The song entered the US Billboard Hot 100 peaking at number 42. In 2014, Ariana Grande performed it for the first time at Very Grammy Christmas concert.
3. Wham! - 'Last Christmas'
Another of the great Christmas classics is this single that Wham starred in 1984 and that its singer George Michael wrote during a Christmas visit to his parents. It was the most-played Christmas song of the 21st century in England until it was overtaken by Fairytale of New York in 2015.
4. Gwen Stefani - 'You Make It Feel Like Christmas ft. Blake Shelton'
Maybe some of you don’t know this facet of No doubt singer, who surprise us with the album “You Make it Feel Like Christmas” released in 2017 and featured with Blake Shelton. The single was a resounding success in the U.S. charts.
5. Justin Bieber - 'Mistletoe'
The Canadian singer released this Christmas song in 2011 with pop notes, R&B and that has reggae influences. Mistletoe sold 164,000 albums in the first week of release, placing it at No. 5 on Billboard‘s Hot Digital Songs chart.
6. Sia - 'Santa’s Coming For Us'
The most Jazz version of this list is called Santa’s Coming For Us. A song criticized for its similarity to Santa Claus Is Coming To Town. This song was included in the eighth album (Everyday is Christmas – 2017) by the Australian singer Sia. The single was in the US Adult Contemporary ranking for 2 weeks, although it didn’t reach the Hot 100 in the United States.
7. Pentatonix - 'Where are you Christmas'
One of the groups specialising in Christmas songs could not be absent either: the a capella music group, Pentatonix. It’s hard to choose from their long list of Christmas hits, but we kept this single released in 2018 on their third Christmas album, titled Christmas Is Here!
8. Sam Smith - 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas'
One of the most versioned singles on this list is Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. Released by the London singer, Sam Smith, in 2014 within his album Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas. It is a song written by Hugh Martin and Ralph Blane that premiered in the musical Meet Me in St. Louis (1944).
9. Daryl Hall & John Oates - 'Jingle Bell Rock (Daryl’s Version)'
One of the essentials of this list of classics is this version of the American popular Christmas song first released by Bobby Helms in 1957 and titled Jingle Bell Rock. This version of the blue-eyed soul duo, Daryl Hall & John Oates, was released in 1983 on their album Home for Christmas.
10. Chris Brown - 'This Christmas'
